The publication is a compilation of images of the 'Watch My Garden Grow' series. The printed images of the drawings are life-size.
The tiny Arabidopsis plant is a model organism for research in plant molecular genetics. Images of these floral homeotic mutants of Arabidopsis triggered the idea for the drawings.
The drawings explore concepts such as new designs for plant architecture and plant evolution in a contemporary visual language. They have been described as blueprints for future ecological systems.
